My major piece of work to date is my ‘As Faulty As We Are’ series of work. Here I use what is essentially a faulty process, one that is as far removed from Photoshop as you could possibly get, as a vehicle to challenge perceptions. As this process is, in it’s very nature flawed, it seems fitting to use it to represent groups and individuals themselves, often judged as so much less than perfect.

The irony is that their incredible presence and determination often confronts and changes the lives of the people around them. Whether it’s an ex heroin addict that hid his addiction from his family for 10 years or the beautiful 8 year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy that refuses to run (with her walking frame) less than the 80m the rest of the children in her class are running. All of these individuals have been judged for their perceived shortcomings.
