What is your approach to work, do you use a team?
Most of my shoots are just me. I generally don’t have much time with what I do, if it is on location. Commercial or fashion I will usually have one assistant. I set up all my own lighting and try to keep a hand in most things. If the job is big, I bring in other people. Do more of the work yourself, and you end up making more money (within reason).
My personal work is usually just me. It has to do with trust and the vibe I am trying to create. This project (Photographer Project) was entirely me, from concept to setup to scheduling to shooting to designing the book.
