I have been influenced by so many photographers that it's hard to narrow it down. A few of them would be Nan Goldin, David Armstrong, Brassai, Ed van der Elsken, Dennis Stock, Edward Weston, Saul Leiter, Bruce Davidson, Peter Hujar, Robert Mapplethorpe, Peter Lindbergh, and my mother, Virginia Parrott.
Aside from my mother, obviously, the two I have relationships with are Nan and David Armstrong. I find the interaction of being able to talk about my work with people whose work I respect to be completely irreplaceable.
