"Most of my work is a visualization that can only happen in camera, this might be looking straight at the sun whilst also seeing the person, frozen moments, multi-exposures, or flares affecting the image."

Klaus is a great believer in doing as much as possible in camera, or at least executing the image in a way that is photographically correct. Believability is very important, and he tries not to get too much polish in an image. The model's hair may be a little unkempt, there might be some dust or scratches on what he photographs. Retouching is kept to a minimum.

He also shoots film because he likes the look and feel of it, and he isn't too concerned about defending his choice. Digital has it's advantages but he's not excited about shooting digitally.
