This session was supposed to be a simple beauty shot with a personal touch, private work. But then it became more personal touch than beauty. I like to work with this model, Jeanette Mathisen, because she can pose both with grace and attitude, but without being boring or too commercial. We wanted soul, we wanted more than simply a beautiful face with great make-up and hair.
I don't accept to do sessions which are too strict, I want the beautiful, the weird, the arty. All can be combined and so we create a work with substance. And never too perfect, because total perfection can be boring too.
