My greatest aspiration for my work is that it present an intelligent visual tension between pure beauty and pure anxiety. Unpolished Abrasax stones. Any further explanation of the meaning behind my work threatens an insult to the viewer. I want to respect the intelligence of the viewer over any expectation from the “art world” to define my person and intention. I will always hope that this is received as humility rather than pretention.
