In my early twenties, I went to see a doctor about my general health. As he was trying find out more about my personality, he asked me if I liked to daydream. I immediately and categorically said no. The next instant I realised that was completely untrue, and that, in fact, my life was a series of daydreams.

I went through life with my head in the clouds, thinking and living in images and imaginary situations. At that moment the realisation also came that I was secretive and that these images were possibly the most intimate things to me.
