A man's dream Guenter Knop started taking photographs as a child in his native Germany but he had to begin one profession to find another. Only when he was 25 years old and an agriculture student at the University of Kiel did he realize that photography was his true calling. Guenter was the child of a father who had always wanted to be a professional photographer, and who had steeped his children in the cosmopolitan ideas of travel, culture and art. The son was deeply influenced by architecture and design, and warmly remembers the openness of his family to foreign influences. |
