For these images I thought I was going to do a childhood memory/road trip/dreamy series. Saddle up the old station wagon, take the Rolleiflex and drive up and down the West Coast to see what there was to see. Which is pretty much what I've been doing with a few side trips here and there. But the series has morphed past the original intent and sort of become much more simply about a particular way of looking at the world. It's called Waypoints

I have not figured out what they mean to me yet. But I really like the way it's going.

I've found the shots literally everywhere between a quarter mile up the road, then south to Baja and East to New York.
