Although there really is hardly anything original in photography nowadays, as long as viewers get intrigued by the subject matter of my photos and feel that it's something fresh and something real, then I've done my job as a photographer. If it makes them feel strongly about it, whether for or against it, then I've done my job as an artist - this part I still need to work on. And I still have a long way to go. Be relentless in looking for inspiration, be persistent in trying to improve your craft, and never stop experimenting until you find your style.
