This is a portfolio is all personal work taken in the time since I moved back to New York from Paris. The two black and white images were for a nude series I did, so they're more deliberate, but the others are just photographs that I saw and took wherever I happened to be at the time. I love the idea that by taking a picture of something you assign this permanence to everyday moments that you otherwise may have forgotten. I am somewhat obsessed by the idea of memory, and I think I often use photography as a tool for documenting what I was feeling at a particular time.
