My favourite photographers and artists: Joel Peter-Witkin. His photographs are art and they evoke so many thoughts and feelings: death, beauty etc. I am fascinated by the texture of his work. I play with texture a lot in my own work and I think it is what creates an atmosphere in a photograph.
Dino Valls. He is an amazing artist with a rich imagination, with unusual, emotional, sensitive images. I like the poses of his figures and their combination with details as well as the colours of his work. It feels like somebody doing research into the internal world of people.
Käthe Kollwitz’s drawings, Sally Mann, Paolo Pellegrin from Magnum Agency with very dynamic composition. Julia Margaret-Cameron. I think I am fascinated by Daguerreotype photography, it’s mystery of the people's look within the portraits and texture.
