The project “Expression” is my first and a very personal body of work. Behind all the photographs is my story, my thoughts and feelings. The idea was to express feelings that people might experience but I didn’t want to make them public and I didn’t want to tell the story behind them. I wanted to make it universal. It is always so interesting when people say what they feel when they look at my work, because  it means I achieved my aim to transfer feelings through the photographs. I hope I did. The main themes in the photographs are of being insecure, feeling fears, aloneness, thoughts about  life and death, about lack of freedom inside the individual and pain.
