I'm not making a living out of photography yet, I've never studied it professionally or have actively sought out clients. It has always been a very personal endeavor. But I have been recently approached by magazines and individuals for commissions, so  things are starting to trickle and we'll see what happens. It's actually quite exciting to be given a brief or some direction, a different challenge.

I'd like to delve more into photography as a living, but I'd like to remain on my terms. and not get sucked into the money-making machine (I have graphic design for that!). I'm hoping that if I get approached for commissions, it is because people find interest in how I shoot portraits, and the type of images I make. Low-key, more intimate 'moment' shots.

I've also got a solo show planned for summer 2010 in Beirut, at Zico House gallery, which I'm very much looking forward to. I'm interested in presenting my photography alongside objects, video projections and text, to build up storylines and create an atmosphere around the faces and places captured in 2D.
