Whether it's high fashion, commercial, art or simply snapshots, I enjoy shooting groups, movement, and nighttime. Growing up in NYC nighttime is never really dark for me. So my imagination of nighttime is energetic, active, colorful and well lit. That's why I like artificial lighting.
Night is also a time where the underbelly of society comes to the surface. I like to look in to places that people don't want or care to venture and instead of being scared or repulsed, I find the blood and mud of society fascinating and inspirational.
I have always been interested in shooting people from all walks of life whether they are a super-famous musician, a beautiful fashion model, an everyday person or a prostitute. Everyone has something interesting in them that can be captured.
