This was a shoot for a Brooklyn Indies fashion event and the client gave me two words to inspire the shoot. “Modern Vintage” So I wanted the color palette to be vintage style but with a modern urban edge. The stylist and I decided to use real people mixed with professional fashion models to blur the lines between documentary, fashion, and commercial photography. The Triz Auto Club was great, they came wearing their colors and we shot in Williamsburg Brooklyn.
The shoot was a complicated production with location lighting, 15-20 extras, 3 models coming and leaving at different times. But I am happy with the results it is old and vintage looking but with a modern content and a little twist.
