I believe in beautiful art, if a picture is not pleasurable to look at then I don't want to look at it, and I try to create the kind of work that I enjoy as a viewer.

Create images that you love to look at, make sure you are enjoying the process.  Otherwise you will get bored.  Always try new things, if you don't create some failures, you're probably not trying hard enough.
