Photography has a tendency to be a bit of an instant gratification art these days. An image can be shot, edited and available for all to see in a relatively short amount of time. There's something nice about that but I also remember working on one of my films frequently took six months to a year. Having to stick with a story and work on a project required discipline and complete absorption in an idea. I have a couple of more in-depth projects that I'd love to get started this new year. I'd also ultimately like to take on more freelance work. Making an eventual move towards working on my photography full-time is definitely a dream and goal of mine.
