This is a tough profession to make money when starting out, that's why you have to be good and to be good you have to have a passion for the art. Fashion Photography is more than picking up a camera and taking snapshots like most people think. There's a lot that goes into it, especially the lighting, composition, production, permits,  insurance, studio management, post production. Also having great relationships with model agents, art directors, producers, assistants. Hair, Makeup and Styling are a huge aspect in fashion photography. But I'd say composition and lighting are the most important aspects to making a great picture.

I prefer to keep my client list confidential, but I have been focusing on shooting lots of editorial and personal art images at the moment. I'd like to shoot for 10, Numero, i-D, S Magazine, Purple, V Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Fantastic Man.

What would you like to say to potential clients?

Soon I'd like to see myself traveling and working in most of the fashion capitals  (London, Paris, Milan, Japan, Shanghai, New Delhi, Rio de Janeiro). I also see relocating my family out of South Africa.
