I've always been very intrigued by surveillance and spying  (maybe I watched too many James Bond films when I was little).

I never felt comfortable photographing people on the street, I felt I was being intrusive.  I also liked the idea of bringing a camera into places that were forbidden. I had a surveillance camera built into a bag and attached a video camera to it.  I was able to take still shots from the video camera using a remote. I would go into auctions, airports, high end designer boutiques - just about any place where a camera was forbidden.

The photos I have chosen are personal work. The process of taking these photos was very exciting because I was not able to set up or see the shot.
It was a real challenge to take a camera into places where a camera is forbidden and come up with interesting imagery.
