I was born and raised in Germany.

I studied menswear fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in London before I started to make shoes. I learnt under a bespoke shoemaker while studying shoe making at Cordwainers in London. He does every process involved in making a pair of shoes by hand, which really means you'll work your fingers to the bone. I learnt my shoe-making skills in this traditional method. I believe it makes you a better designer as you are able to understand what can and can't be achieved when actually thinking about the designs for shoes.
