Chadwick Tyler is doing what most photographers only daydream about: He moved to New York from Florida just over a year ago and is now making a stellar go as an important shooter.

I arrived to meet the team at the tail end of a shoot in a small park in Brooklyn. Immediately, I see why Chadwick’s so good at this. He has a very laid-back, easy air about him – soft-spoken and almost gentle. And I notice during our interview that his left eye – the eye you close when composing a picture – has a few more sun lines from squeezing shut. But then again, I may be imagining this, because in truth he first picked up a camera four years ago.
