“Becoming a Puppet”, personal work 2007
I’m inspired by a lot of painters, like Chagall, Le Douanier Rousseau, Basquiat, but also by other children’s book illustrators, all around the globe, such as Muriel Kerba, Lane Smith, Rebecca Dautremer or Sara Fanelli. I also have a passion for darkroom photography, so sometimes I like to add a darkroom mood to my illustrations, like in the one named “Becoming a Puppet”.
