Most clients approach my shoots with a very open mind. I find I'm able to influence a shoot quite heavily, and people expect me to take the reigns when it comes to suggesting how, what, and where to shoot. Props can be another problem area. People find it hard to estimate bouyancy. They are amazed to see that the heavy sofa they carried to the pool happily floats, and then the dye leaks out of the cover and clouds up the water - that is something which can't be cured in an hour, it may be a day before you can get the water clear enough again.
