About a year ago I met Sharon and when she showed me images from fashion work she had done and I was amazed. Sharon and I talked about her work and the type of work she wanted to create and I wanted to be part of her vision. I think Sharon has the vision and I have the tools to create the image. I see fashion work as a challenge, the market and styles change all of the time. As the market changes I think our vision and style should evolve with it.

For me this work is mostly personal, in Oklahoma the demand for edgy fashion is very limited to non at all and my professional work has been toward the corporate and editorial, not focused on fashion.

Sharon and I discussed the concept for these images and we went into the shoot with an open mind, I knew the look that Sharon wanted from Kate and it was up to me to capture that look. We decided we would just go with whatever Kate gave us, since neither of us had worked with her, and did not really know what to expect. Kate was easygoing and great to work with, these images were created because of Sharon’s vision and magnificent talent and Kate’s ability to give us the “look”. I was just a very small part of the project. Sharon and I are working on future projects that will be challenging and exciting.

I am often asked what my “style” is and my standard answer is it depends on the day. I find myself evolving all the time, and would hate to get labeled as having a certain style. I feel the image that I create today can evolve into a great image tomorrow.
