I do believe that a good
image is a combined effort of the stylists, makeup artists, creative
directors and the photographer. I always surround myself with the best
available talents. I make sure that a shoot is relaxed, fun but
disciplined. I try to guide, but never impose. I listen and try
suggestions even if I know the outcome won't work. At least it's a
learning experience for everyone. A photographer needs to have people
skills to drive his team, to relax the models and bring out the best in
them. I never show desperation, anger or impatience. I hide those
feelings and show confidence, patience and kindness for
when tension pollutes a shoot, the outcome can never be
perfect anymore.
