Do you have any competitors?
I don’t really see too many knitwear designers in the industry. It is nice to meet new designers and support each other, because it is extremely tough, especially in Canada, to get the recognition and respect, even if you have the talent and are willing to work extremely hard.
Tell me about your clientele. Female as well as male?
I create pieces that are bold and edgy yet classy; I like to combine the two. My pieces are for people that love to look interesting and have a unique style on their own. It really depends what you wear the pieces with not as much who wears them. My target market is people that are either creative and love dressing in the pieces that make them feel beautiful and unique, as well as people that are a little more conservative but love to get pieces that are a little more fashion forward and fun, and add that little special piece to their wardrobe.
