Glamour photography has been around for 100 years now, so
how do we take a new, fresh photograph of a pretty girl. If we consider
glamour as sexy shots, it is suprising to see how few changes have been
introduced in sucessful magazines such as Playboy over the years. On
the other hand, I think that involving the models in the conception of
the shots gives a more "feminine" point of view to the images. This
maybe creates some changes to the regular clichés of glamour.
I've got to say that I am pretty glad when women tell me
that they like my work. This means that we can produce a sexy image
that attracts both women and men - even though I am sure it is
still biased toward the man's point of view. I don't think that women's
attitudes have changed over the years - it is just that we produce more
images now, which means more variety. This eventually ends up pleasing
women too. But I guess that Playmates will still mostly attract men
