I like the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of glamour: "an exciting and often illusory and romantic attractiveness". Even if glamour often means sexiness, my vision rather focuses on romance and imagination. But of course, everything is just an illusion as the model plays a role.

Most of my models are friends or simply people I meet. I think that a successful glamour series should be satisfactory both for the model and the photographer. It is thus essential in my work that both of us know the mood and atmosphere that we will try to convey prior to the session. This way, the model gains confidence and suggests new ideas - I think that this collaboration gives the best results as we gradually share our intimacy.
Mood is often achieved by colouring the image digitally afterwards, even though we try to do our best to create most of the work at shooting time. Soft lighting usually just comes from shaded areas on a bright day.
