I understand you’re a personal trainer as
well; tell me about your clientelle. I work in a gym with older clientelle, so the focus is more on health then aesthetics. With all my clients I give a balanced program including strength training, aerobic conditioning, flexibility, and a healthy diet. What is the most challenging part of your training? Definitely it’s the diet component. I love to train, so that’s no problem at all. But dieting for 16 weeks before a contest is extremely mentally challenging. Why is it important for people to be physically fit? It’s about leading a balanced, healthy lifestyle. You can have all the money in the world, but if you don’t have your health you really don’t have anything. Tell me about your current accomplishments? I’m really goal oriented, so I like to set goals for myself and find satisfaction in achieving them. I’m always setting small goals, but my bigger ones that I have accomplished lately are my 3rd place finish at the 2006 FAME World Bodybuilding Championships and the completion of my business degree. What do you do for fun…in your spare time? I love to read, learn new things. I also like to go out with friends and meet new people. |
