I have said before that this work is so much more than figure study. Robert Cheshire’s photographic art is an artistic study of the female figure and it’s interactions with a variety of elements and environments. It is the first thing you grasp when looking at Cheshire’s work. But because it is the first thing you notice, don’t overlook the fact that there it so much more to this work. This doesn’t even come close to explaining the full life of this art. But if you come away with just that the first time around, you’ve connected somehow and should take that away knowing you’ve connected with something very special.
