Tell us where you are now?

I'm in a plane at the moment, a day late getting home, my flight having been cancelled on my way back from an opening.

On my desk in my office are hundreds of sections of prints waiting to be sewn, lists of prints needed for a show, a selection of papers and other materials to be coated for test prints, and first-run prints of  new work. I haven't answered an email in several days, and I have students whose questions and needs have priority on my time.

This is my life in photography in a nutshell: The business of photography, which is 70-80% of the time, energy, and focus I spend on projects, usually leaves me considerably behind in my creative work, which most often is completed early in the morning or late at night, when the responsibilities of living do not generally interfere with it.
