Inspirations are all around you each and every day, you just have to keep your eyes open. I always take notes with my iphone when something comes into my mind and on the desk next to my bed there is always a notebook to write ideas down immediately after waking up. The main point is to get "the" idea for a shoot. If you got this main topic you automatically get focused and see inspirations all around you.

I make a part of my living at photography. Fortunately I don't have to make a living from it so I am very free in what I do and who I work with. I mostly work for smaller magazines, upcoming fashion designers, artists and bands. And I do a lot of personal work, too. As a hint for those who start out being a photographer my only advice is to be patient and to work on your own style. Use the time when you're young and don't need that much money for a living to experiment and try out things to define your style and get a unique photographic handwriting. This is a long term investment which will pay back if you stick to it.

I would love to work for the major fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and shoot creative stories with inspiring people and outfits but I don't force it. I'm patient and all things will come at their time.

Furthermore I will shoot my first music video for a german artist within the next weeks and I'm pretty exited as to how this will turn out.
