I was going to give up on the whole endeavor but I had another friend who worked at a local department store and who one day showed up at my house with about $1000.00 worth of film.  I know he didn't pay for this "gift" and he took a great risk to help me out.

I now had the means to keep making work but still nothing was turning out how I thought it would, not only technically but also aesthetically.  At this time I didn't really have anyone to give me any feedback on what I was doing wrong.

I just went out and shot more film and experimented until I had a better understanding of how the camera translates what's in front of it into a photograph.
