I found I liked the process of photography more then the process of painting. I like to communicate with my models and  photography is more social then painting. You work with many different sorts of people and in photography itself you have many different areas to explore.

Photography isn’t easier then painting but you quickly see the image as it is going be at the end. This is why I like it.

Love, daily life and human beings are the themes of my work. On the technical side my inspirations are the old masters: Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Vermeer. You can see that in my use of light, the composition and the themes of my work.

I did an internship with Erwin Olaf, I am very proud of it and I think that he is a living `Old Master´. Photography is practiced by a lot by people, you see a lot of new and fascinating images each day. I don’t want to leave anyone out but some of my favourite photographers are Joel-Peter Witkin, Jan Saudek, Eugenio Recuenco and of course, Erwin Olaf.
