I am born in Odessa, Ukraine. When I was 12 I emigrated with my family to Israel. Later I went to study at the art academy in Arnhem. I lived in the Netherlands for 5 years. At this moment I live in Israel AND The Netherlands. I have no special connections with countries but I do have them with the people who live there. I think I am a kind of world citizen.

When I first started with my study at the art academy in Arnhem I wanted to be a painter. I had a series in mind and as I tried it first with the photo camera. After I made the photographs I manipulated the images and I was happy with the result that I got. I felt the images I created were complete and should stay as photos.
