I think I've always been interested in making pictures. Through drawing when I was younger, and later with a camera. I probably didn't start thinking about photography in an artistic way before Art College though, it was just a way to capture moments that I saw happening around me. When I was in college I got my first 35mm SLR and that's when I started looking through a camera in a creative way.
