I was born and raised in West Berlin in the twilight years of the Cold War, which soon segued into the blossoming of German reunification.
In my early teens I got into skateboarding, snowboarding and graffiti and began working for Lodown magazine. One of my images was featured in the first issue, and that marks my start as a professional photographer.
Now I work as a fine art photographer based in Tokyo, Japan. I am represented by Camera Work gallery in Berlin.
