How long have you been a professional photographer (full-time)? And, how did you become a fashion photographer?
Photography and fashion have always been part of my life, in one way or another. I do remember the first Polaroid camera I got from my parents when I was 7 years old! I loved taking pictures of my brothers and sisters, friends, dogs, anything ... When I was 16, I started my model career, that was when I learned about fashion, runways, photoshoots, auditons, lots of auditions. This was back home in Brazil! When I moved to California, I knew, somehow, I wanted to be a photographer and I became one! In the begining, I used my friends as models but for the past 7 years I guess, I have done it professionally.
I became a fashion photographer by a natural extension of my modeling. In between runways, photoshoots and auditions I always found time to experiment, shooting a few of my friends and soon the images started to be recognized by the agencies.
