Fashion is probably my specialization, but I don’t think at my age you should be specializing in something, you should try everything. I’m 22 years old and still trying to figure out who I am as an artist and that is something normal I believe.
Natural light is definitely what represents me the most. I can’t really put words on my work, maybe for someone it would be commercial and someone else will think something completely different. I do have a team in Montreal I have a great Make up artist Vanessa Saravia, hairstylist Helene Drouin and a stylist who is one of my closest friends, Daniel Bruno-Ferreira.
Tim Walker is definitely my favourite photographer. I know that in the future it would definitely be the kind of photography I would like to do, but like I said, right now I’m trying to explore different areas.
Inspiration can come from a movie, a dream, people around me, a piece of clothing, literally everything. For me inspiration is really vague. I don’t think about what’s ‘in’ at the moment, I just do whatever I want and hope that people love it. I do take a lot of ideas from my team, I think it’s really important to talk to other people about your project because they can bring so much more to it, and listening to others is crucial.
