I'm inspired by those themes that have influenced me since I was child, being part of a strong culture, the mexican culture which is filled with myths, legends, magic and unique rituals.
As I grew up I started to study art, but also my culture and my country. So my interest and love for Anthropology and folklore are important things to enrich my work and make a fusion of my feelings and my roots.
I've been living in Italy for 12 years and here is where I decided to stay and make this personal research into my art. It's interesting to me to live in a foreign culture having been raised in another which is extremely different, where saints, rituals and devotion are normal things.
