I walked into the studio unsure and almost ashamed to reveal my body. In a society where we are taught to cover ourselves and that beauty comes from the clothes, makeup, and in extreme cases, cosmetic surgeries we use to ´´enhance´´ ourselves, it is easy to lose sight of the magnificence of the natural human body itself. We are more complex and intricate than any piece of technology our species has invented. Our bodies are constantly growing and undergoing changes, we can heal ourselves when damaged, and we have the ability to create new life. That is beautiful.
