The title
photo deals with religion mixing into politics. I feel
too many politicians are running with a religious outlook into
politics. Or current politicians who make laws with their religion in
mind. Religion is nice at home, but it isn't fair to bring it to the
political table. The constitution says so. The image one is about the rest of the world VS the United States in terms of gun control. This was a response that came to me when I first heard of the Newtown Connecticut shooting. Gun control became a fad for a short while, but it was reasonable. One person brought up the point that: after one attempt to sneak in a shoe bomb, everybody now has to take their shoes off at the airport. Multiple school and mass shootings have occurred, but no government action has been taken yet. When one looks at the death rate statistics, it is clear that we have a lot to learn from others around the world such as Sweden or Germany. Of course, banning guns now isn't a possibility, but there are many options the government can do to at least make SOME difference. The next photo is about politicians putting the upper class above the working class majority. Yes, this photo is partially about taxes, partially about health care, partially about education. This image is about women's rights, but more specifically women's reproductive rights. This is one of the biggest issues I think young couples overlook. It's important that women have the right to their own body. |
