I’ve always had a need to express myself creatively. When I was younger, this could be hours and hours locked away in my room with my pencils and fresh pads of drawing paper. I’ve studied dancing fulltime for a year, written songs, though I generally only sing to myself in the shower or my poor friends driving us through country fields and wish I could paint better.
Photography is the single one medium that has been by my side consistently. It just linked arms with me one day and hasn’t let go. What I love about it the most is that it has the ability to bundle up what I can’t find the words for. I see it very much like a friend. Sometimes we have our disagreements and we need to take a short break from one another, but it’s there and reliable when I need it, is excellent company for whiling away the hours and understands me like only a true buddy can.
