I’m mostly interested in portraits, and mixing them with surrealism. I love to create strange and absurd situations based on my feelings. I like constructing scenes with photography: I’ve always been attracted by cinematic language and therefore by images where you can find an important narrative structure.

I’m inspired by cinema, music, painting, books, life in general: Fellini, The Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, The Smiths,  Nan Goldin, William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, Francis Bacon etc. You can find inspiration everywhere, I find, and your work becomes a mixture of all these things.

In the future, I would love to continue exploring portraiture in different ways, mixing it with fashion photography, for example. I’m also becoming progressively more and more interested in video and the possibilities of the medium.
