I was always interested in ‘model-photography’ (not just ‘people’, since I have very little interest in showing ‘real people being themselves’ in photos), in creating my own images.

There are so many people who inspire me. Lately, I’ve become very interested in the arts of icons such as Rafael, Michelangelo, Da Vinci and Rubens. I’m also drawn to the photography work of Paolo Roversi, Richard Avadon, Joel Peter Witkin (for the absolute weirdness in his photos), Ellen Rogers, Marc Lagrange, Paulina Surys and many more.

I’m my own inspiration, most of the time. I use themes that are important to me (often not the most joyful themes, since I have a bit of a dark side to show) and project them on my models and the setting. In a way I show myself, without showing my physique.
