28/365 Like Giants

My apartment is located next to an old abandoned golf course which is where I go to take most of my 365 photos. It's a vast landscape that the sun soaks so perfectly.

My photography heroes vary greatly. In terms of professional photographers, it would have to be Tim Walker, Annie Leibovitz, Gregory Crewdson and Sally Mann. For the younger, up and coming photographers, I really appreciate the work of Rob Woodcox, Marwane Pallas and Jordan Tiberio.

I am always inspired by the way the light changes a situation and environment, so that's something I like to try to play and experiment with. But I also find inspiration in everyday life, my hometown in Louisiana and optical illusions.

I think I keep my work fresh by constantly trying new things without the fear of failure. I also stay aware of the work of other young artists and find inspiration in that. It's like one giant community of people constantly being inspired, it's a beautiful thing.
