I am a twenty year old self portrait photographer.
I was born in a tiny town in Louisiana and relocated to my home state of Florida when I was a few years old. I did most of my growing up in central Florida with annual summer visits to my second home in Louisiana. These summers and the events that took place during them greatly inspire my work today.
My father is a painter and my mother is a fast talker and I think I have adopted special traits from both of them. My parents split when I was about fourteen and I felt somewhat isolated. I dove into books, art and writing. This hunger for inspiration and need of acceptance was the perfect formula for discovering photography and the photo community on flickr. My hobby turned passion lead me to a university in Jacksonville, Florida, which is where I am currently living and playing.
