Have you changed your focus over the years?

I always had this type of photography in me, but obviously I changed fields. It's actually because I had so much over-flashed, voluntarily bad-framed, trashy, modern photos to look at all the time that I wanted to go back to the sources.

I needed an older type of images, a more genuine aspect, well thought out images of simple subjects. I moved out of the city, I started a new life and with it my photography changed. From the modern skateboarding/music scene and all its need for instant photos, fast flicks and non-stop flow of images, I chose a very peaceful, quiet, type of photography.

Now, my personal work is a bit of a stand against this modernity and the abuse of it all, the non-stop over-reliance on trash/ shock/ sensation. My actual photography is very bucolic, calm, romantic and it seems refreshing to me.
