These are
images from my series "Portraits of Unknown People" which I
have worked on for several years and will continue. As in my other
works I
use long time exposures to get the results I want. Could this work with
time and movement be a relic of my film work? But of
course, one result of my film experience is that I do all the effects
in-camera, using photoshop only for correction. The aim was/is not to show an individual person, but to find stereotypes, cliches which let the recipient find his own associations, which bring him to think. |
